This Sunday Dress has some great styling attributes, including a back triangular cut-out, which can only be seen while viewing the dress from the back. I used a diagonal layout treatment here to not only allude to the back’s triangular cut-out, but also to allow users to discover the different sides of the dress as they scroll down.

Today Levi’s is not just a retailer offering classic denim, but also a destination for head-to-toe outfitting options, and in particular Women’s tops. This email highlights the latter while alluding to the fashion forward and on-trend outfitting possibilities currently available. From a design perspective, the long, gridded collage format offers a more editorial feel, while also encouraging users to scroll down with the stacked imagery.

Studio 8 Design is a boutique interior design firm. They specialize in creating unique interiors that combine the classic and contemporary.

They needed a website that would showcase their work and enable viewers to peruse the fine details of each project. The website is viewable on a regular desktop/laptop, as well as an iPad or iPhone.

The Mobile Learning Institute (now New Learning Institute) delivers engaging, personalized, project-based digital media programs to young people and educators. They work in classrooms, after-school centers, museums, and cultural institutions, or wherever learning takes place. Using the latest mobile technologies and digital media practices and tools, they help young people explore their interests, direct their own learning, and better prepare themselves for living and working in the 21st century.

I was asked to create a series of 7 posters to adorn their Forth Worth, Texas location’s celebration event. The tone of the posters was to be fun and highlight the program’s participants (students & teachers). One of the key challenges was finding an engaging solution for low-resolution photography assets under a tight deadline. I completed the project over the course of 4 days.

These dynamic retargeting banners feature the most recent products viewed by the user. The challenge was showcasing multiple products while maintaining a clean look. To solve this dilemma I came up with the idea of using numbers and showing each selected product one at a time.

I was given creative freedom to create a promotional flyer for Step Up, a charity art/music event for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. If features a succulent, which thrives and possesses a lovely grace despite the difficult conditions of the desert climate. In the same way my hope was for the Katrina victims to recover and eventually thrive.

I was excited to design a website for Kenya Hathaway, an R&B and jazz singer and the daughter of the late soul singer Donny Hathaway. The website was created in Flash and gives fans an opportunity to listen to Kenya’s music, see photos of her, and read her diary and latest news.
